In line with our commitment to whole-child development and the IB Learner Profile, we embrace Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi’s philosophy of learning with the head, heart, and hand (h³). Known as the father of modern pedagogy, Pestalozzi was a Swiss social reformer and educator whose ideas inspired transformative educational reforms.
Like him, we believe that “developing the powers of ‘Head’, ‘Heart’ and ‘Hands’ helps create individuals who are capable of knowing what is right and what is wrong and of acting according to this knowledge, enabling each individual to become a responsible citizen”. (https://jhpestalozzi.org)
At Le Régent, this philosophy ensures our students are not only intellectually challenged but also equipped with practical skills and strong character, preparing them to excel in all their pursuits.
