The objective is to choose the next step best suited for their interests and talents – and where appropriate, to aim for the colleges and universities which offer the “best fit”.
Supportive careers and university guidance
Le Régent is a member of the Council of International Schools and takes part in their annual Global Forum on International Admission & Guidance with over 300 universities in attendance. In addition, our students attend university fairs both at Le Régent and throughout Switzerland where they have the opportunity to meet 1:1 with university representatives.
The school also offers annual trips to both the US and UK to visit universities and meet with admissions officers.All our students and parents benefit from our personalised guidance service - from the choice of IB subjects to selecting the ideal university and course.
They receive coaching and advice on how to complete their application forms and personal statements. Our teachers, tutors and University Guidance Counselors produce strong supporting references that attract top universities. Our academic faculties prepare pupils for subject-specific admissions tests and interviews, whilst SAT preparation courses are available for those wishing to apply to the US.
Career guidance and personal skills development are also important. Our students benefit from a wide range of opportunities and contacts with local and international businesses, motivational guest speakers and networking events through our international alumni association and parent association.
