FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD

Famous for its 300 days of sunshine a year, its unique panorama, as well as its sports, leisure and cultural activities, Crans-Montana is located on a plateau about 1,500m above sea level, with remarkable panoramic views of the majestic 4,000m alpine peaks, people here proudly call la Couronne Impériale / the Imperial Crown.

The skiing area comprises 140 km of pistes topped by the Pointe de la Plaine Morte at 2,927m. The official Swiss candidate for Alpine World Ski Championships in 2025, Crans-Montana is often on the World Cup schedule. But there is more than skiing.

The resort is situated just above some of the best Swiss vineyards and offers excellent conditions for walking and trekking. It also hosts the only winter mountain pop-rock festival Caprices Festival and the Omega European Golf Masters, which takes place in the summer.

While enjoying the facilities of an upscale mountain resort, Le Régent encourages a strong attachment to local Valais culture and its people. And thanks to the links with the community created by our day students, all Régents learn to know, value and enrich their community. Experience the canton of Valais from your home here.
