Certain events mark the history of a school and this, Le Régent’s first graduation ceremony, is surely one. Over half of the graduating class managed to make it back to celebrate with students, teachers and parents. A touching and joyful ceremony began with prize-giving for the rest of the school, with speeches in French and English and musical interludes, but the fitting end to the ceremony was the distribution of diplomas, the tears and renewing close friendships after COVID-induced months apart. The fête continued with the inauguration of the sports area and a fine buffet lunch.
